Arron Russell became involved with Ennovar over two years ago, which was around the same time he came to WSU. Arron started out at Textron in the Help Hangar, but was later moved to Spirit AeroSystems Security Operations Center. There, he works with a team that monitors and investigates alerts, ensuring that Spirit stays free from network intrusion and data exfiltration. The experience he gained with Spirit helped him land an internship in Millenium Corporation鈥檚 Pathfinder program.

Through Millennium and the Pathfinder program Arron traveled to Alabama where he received in-depth cyber training, was able to participate in simulated red team engagements and learn about the federal cyber workforce. Arron says 鈥淓nnovar has opened the door to entry level jobs that have given me valuable experience in the defense side of cybersecurity. My favorite part about working for Ennovar is learning from industry professionals, while also having the relaxed schedule required for taking full-time classes.鈥

Outside of work, Arron enjoys Capture-the-Flag competitions and Python coding.
