Before her education at WSU began, Caroline was at Missouri Western State University in Saint Joseph, MO. At the time, she was achieving a degree in broadcasting and media production management. While Covid negatively impacted her first year, Caroline was actively freelancing and working on production shoots for collegiate sports and professional sports on ESPN. It was while working through the lockdowns of 2020 that she realized the security aspects of broadcasting, which led her into researching cybersecurity and beginning her new career path. During her time at Wichita State, Caroline has been involved in multiple clubs like WiCyS (Women in CyberSecurity) and WSU's Nationally Ranked Bowling Team.
