Thao Pham, a Computer Science major graduating in December 2024, started her career at Ennovar in the Level 1 Help Hangar and now works in the Level 3 Help Hangar at Textron. In her current role, she handles ticket creation, asset management, client communication, and remote customer support using ServiceNow庐. Before pursuing a major in Computer Science, Thao was on a path toward a career in the medical field. However, she soon realized that her goals were better aligned with the tech industry and decided to make the switch.
Thao says, "Ennovar played a crucial role in helping me transition into this field by getting my foot in the door at Textron Aviation through the Help Hangar. This opportunity allowed me to gain face time with potential employers, showcase my abilities, and acquire valuable skills and experiences." Thao values the relationships built at Ennovar and highlights her participation in "Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day", which allowed her to form positive connections with local high school girls interested in engineering.
Thao's main focus for her future is to finish her last year of college strong. Currently, she is deeply engaged in an app development project with her classmates. "Our goal is to develop a fully functional iOS dating application using React Native, integrating an algorithm we've designed. This algorithm will assess users' music preferences to facilitate authentic connections with like-minded individuals."
When she is not working, Thao enjoys staying active through weight-lifting, going to music festivals/concerts, and watching movies.
